These are words you never want to live by:

-Burnout -Exhaustion -Fatigue

In 2024, our team selected mental health and wellness as our pillar.

I try to practice what I preach, but, it's hard.

Our team also finds it hard.

Together, we make a collective effort to help one another.

Two full months into the year:

—We are more extended —We have more intensive work commitments —We all wear multiple hats

But, we have identified ways of self-care together as a team.

  1. Physical Activity: A no-brainer for cardiovascular health, weight management, cognitive function, longevity, and, of course, looking great!
  2. Nature: Improved mood, enhanced creativity, connection to the environment.
  3. Community: Positive mental health benefits, helping with crises, and building stronger relationships.
  4. Yoga: Stress Reduction, Flexibility, Improved sleep, and mental clarity.
  5. Family: There for unconditional love and a support system. Stability and celebration of achievements. -6. Laughing: Who doesn't love a good LOL? Laughing triggers the release of endorphins; it also relieves pain and improves cardio by increasing blood flow.
