Jeff Raikes is a prominent figure in the philanthropic world, known for his co-founding of the Raikes Foundation with his wife, Tricia, in 2002.

Prior to his work in philanthropy, Raikes had a distinguished 27-year career at Microsoft Corporation, where he held various leadership positions, including president of the Microsoft Business Division.

His tenure as the chief executive officer of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation saw significant growth and impact under his guidance, before retiring in 2014.

Raikes is actively involved in multiple organizations, serving on the boards of Costco Wholesale, Hudl, Green Diamond Resources, Epicrop, and the Jeffrey S. Raikes School of Computer Science and Management at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

He also has a strong educational background, having graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering-Economic Systems from Stanford University, where he later served as the chair of the Stanford University Board of Trustees.
