Jeffrey Ellman is a highly experienced attorney with over 30 years of expertise in large corporate and municipal restructurings, specializing in debtor representations in bankruptcy.

Notable cases include serving as debtors' counsel in the Chrysler bankruptcy during the financial crisis and representing the City of Detroit in the largest chapter 9 case in history.

Currently, Jeffrey is involved in high-profile mass tort asbestos cases and leads the Business Restructuring & Reorganization practice in Atlanta.

His extensive experience extends to representing asset purchasers, creditors, secured lenders, and equity sponsors in distressed situations.

Jeffrey Ellman has a strong background in counseling clients on environmental issues in bankruptcy and advising boards on fiduciary duty matters.

He holds a law degree from Harvard Law School and a BA in History from the University of Michigan, and was formerly a Partner at Jones Day.
