Highlights
Five years ago this month, my good friend and spine surgeon colleague, Rex Marco, sustained a cervical spine injury while cycling near his home in Houston. Since then, Rex has been one of the most resilient and inspiring people in my life.
Shortly after his accident, Rex was interviewed by a local news outlet and gave the following quote.
"I knew that I might be paralyzed and it's possible that I might recover function, but it's also possible that I might not," Dr. Marco said. "I wasn't happy about it, but I knew that I would be OK."
Last weekend, I had the honor and privilege of hanging out with Rex and his crew at the National Ability Center in Park City, UT. What an incredible place filled with even more absolutely amazing people.
We all love you, Rex. Please continue to inspire us, brother.
Kudos to all of our elected and appointed officials at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Federal Reserve Board, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), United States Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, and The White House who were all instrumental in protecting the interests of startups and small businesses in the U.S. that held deposits at Silicon Valley Bank.
We at IntuitiveX thank you for your efforts in restoring trust in our nation’s banking system.
