Jennifer Cassidy is a Diplomatic Scholar at Oxford University, focusing on the evolving landscape of diplomacy in the digital age.

She holds a DPhil in International Development with a specialization in Digital Diplomacy, an MSc in Global Governance and Diplomacy, and a B.A. in History and Political Science.

Jennifer's research interests include Gender in Diplomacy which she is currently authoring a book on for Routledge Press, scheduled for release in late 2015.

Her professional background includes roles as a Political Attaché at the Department of Foreign Affairs in Ireland, as well as serving in various capacities at the European External Action Service and the Permanent Mission of Ireland to the United Nations.

Jennifer has also worked as a Director and Producer for TEDx and as a Research Assistant at CNN.

She completed a research year focusing on Gender and Human Rights at the University of Sydney and received her secondary school education at Wesley College Dublin.
