Jennifer Handel is an experienced educator with over 10 years of experience in formal and informal educational settings, dedicated to empowering students to be authentic, informed, and critical-thinking individuals.

With a background in education, history, Judaism, and Israel, Jennifer creates inclusive environments that encourage diverse opinions and open conversations.

Jennifer holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Stony Brook University and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Secondary Education and Teaching History from State University of New York Cortland.

Jennifer has held various roles in organizations including Director of Israel Engagement at Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta, Assistant Director at Stony Brook Hillel, Director of Jewish Student Life at Stony Brook Hillel, Program Coordinator at Duke University, and Israel Teaching Fellow at Masa Israel Journey.

Additionally, Jennifer has experience as a High School History Teacher, Permanent Substitute Teacher, and Assistant Middle School Girls Lacrosse Coach in different school districts.

Jennifer's approach focuses on understanding the culture and needs of the community to help students challenge themselves and find solutions that benefit their peers, providing support, resources, and guidance along the way.
