Highlights
Change is constant. Everything happens for me and not because of me.
I have been humbled to take part of digitalising healthcare in Europe at Kry for the last 2 years 🙌🏻
I’m even more excited to start a new position at Plaid as Performance Marketing and take part of revolutionising open banking 🚀 🚀
2021 might not be the year where I accomplished material possession or promotions but I have achieved personal growth.
One event on January 15th shook me to my core where I was a victim of a fraud and made me self reflect on my life.
Instead of playing the victim card, I would like to share my learnings and lessons this journey has brought me. Some are pretty simplistic and heard them 1000 times but I truly lived them . So here we go
1- Everything happens for a reason. When I thought this fraud was the worse thing that could ever happen to me, it turned out to be the push I needed.
2- Listen to your gut feeling. As much as you are objective, things will happen until you see what your intuition has been telling you all along .
3- Turn the negatives into positives . I could have played the victim card with this incident, but I chose to leave my flat and explore the U.K. and myself .
4- Kill them with kindness .
5- There is always 2 side of the story . This really helped me be less emotional and more strategic .
6- Be happy with yourself. Once you are, everything else will fall into place
7- Attract positivity .
8- Be empathetic. Everyone has a story.
9- Work is just work it’s not everything.
10- Take one step in front of the other.
11- Celebrate the little wins as much as the big ones.
12- Change is constant
When asked “where do you want to be in 5 or 10 years time” I know exactly the title and career path I will lead but the main point is being a better version of myself and someone I look up to.
I definitely see how these learnings shaped me and helped me progress in my career growth. Let’s see what 2022 will hold
