She holds a Master of Library & Information Science from Western University, a Postgraduate Certificate in Information Design from the University of Toronto, a Bachelor of Education from Brock University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Rhetoric & Professional Writing from the University of Waterloo.

In her professional journey, Jennifer Krul has held various roles showcasing her expertise in user experience (UX), including Director of User Experience at Emmetros, where she contributes to the creation of SparxConnect, a user-centered healthcare solution.

Her experience includes positions at BlackBerry, where she served as an Information Architect, Team Lead for Editing & Standards, Technical Editor, and Technical Writer, demonstrating her versatility across different aspects of information and user-centered design.

Jennifer Krul is known for being a long-time user advocate, emphasizing usability principles and employing a broad range of UX activities such as strategy, research, design, and content development.
