Jennifer Melton is a dedicated professional with a rich educational background that includes a Master's degree in Public Health from Tulane University, a Masters in Social Work from The University of Georgia, and a Bachelor's degree in Human Services from Mercer University. Her academic journey began at Kimball Union Academy for high school.

Jennifer has shown a strong commitment to child protection and humanitarian work, having held various roles at UNICEF such as Chief Child Protection, Child Protection Manager, and multiple positions as a Child Protection Specialist, including a stint at UNICEF DRC. Her experience extends to roles like GBV Manager at the International Rescue Committee, Project Manager at Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society, and volunteering with organizations like the Peace Corps and AmeriCorps.

Aside from her professional endeavors, Jennifer has also served in positions that reflect her compassionate nature, such as being a Camp Counselor at Roosevelt Wilderness Camp, a Case Manager at IW Davis Detention Center, a Senior Women's Case Manager at Resident for Effective Shelter Transitions (REST), and Weekend Manager at Macon Rescue Mission.
