Highlights
There have certainly been some “pinch me” moments on the Hill over the past year and a half, but this shot takes the cake. It was an honor to meet Secretary of State Antony Blinken at this week’s State and Foreign Operations Subcommittee hearing.
From one congressional staffer to another (albeit former), thank you, Mr. Secretary for your leadership in addressing our most pressing global challenges.
I’m excited to share that after two wonderful years at Israel Policy Forum, I have made my years-long dream of working on Capitol Hill a reality!
Last week, I started as a Legislative Assistant in the office of Congressman Josh Gottheimer of New Jersey! I am absolutely thrilled for this next step and looking forward handling a whole bevy of issues - foreign affairs, defense, veterans, and homeland security. It is truly a full-circle moment to return to an office where I was once an intern.
There are too many people on and off LinkedIn to thank for helping me get here, but I’d be remiss if I did not acknowledge my colleagues at IPF for preparing me for this new chapter. From building a deeper understanding of the legislative process, to helping lead a congressional staff delegation to Israel and the West Bank, and learning from the best and brightest minds in the field, it has been an honor to play a part in promoting a two-state outcome and bringing smart policy analyses to Congress.
As I step into my new role, all I have to say is, let's do this!!
