Friends,

Most of you know I recently left my job at CNN and Bleacher Report to work full-time on my Whizzered subscription email newsletter. When we launched in April, it blew up far beyond my expectations, and I’ve essentially been flying by the seat of my pants ever since.

That’s fun, but it’s reckless. And scary.

Truth is, Whizzered has been a business from the start. It’s now being treated like one.

Tonight, we passed a milestone that I never, not in a million years, imagined would have been within reach. But we nailed it, and now I get to figure out what the next unattainable goal should be.

I have a lot of cool things in the works for 2020 and beyond, and they aren’t limited to writing. I’m excited to share them with you.

When I lost my job a few years ago, I thought it was the worst thing that ever happened to me.

I was so very wrong about that.
