Is the text on your slides too small?

We’ve been seeing an interesting trend in DeckSend view data.

Over the past 18 months, the % of pitch deck views on smartphones has more than doubled, from about 7% to almost 20%.

The chart here aggregates about 515,000 views.

Interestingly, the majority of these smartphone views are in portrait mode, so the physical size of the slides is pretty small.

Founders might be wise to see if their slides still land their key points if viewed on a smartphone. Is the text even legible?

If this trend continues - and we see no reason it won’t - the majority of views will be on smartphones in the next few years.
