Jeremy Diggle

Full-time independent artist and visiting Professor of Art and Design and Performance Painting. Experienced Academic and Professor of Art & Design. Available for Research dissertation supervision and examination.

Jeremy Diggle is a highly accomplished artist and academic with an extensive educational background.

He holds a BA (Hons) in Fine Art, Painting from St Martins School of Art at the University of the Arts London, an MA (ARCA) in Fine Art focusing on painting, printmaking, holography, and industrial design from the Royal College of Art, and a Postgraduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) in Art Teacher Education as well as a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Creative Arts from the University of Exeter. Additionally, he pursued a DPhil. in Art from the University of the West of England.

Throughout his career, Jeremy has been associated with various prestigious academic institutions, including serving as a visiting Professor of Art and Design and Performance Painting at Artist and Professor of Art & Design. He has also held leadership positions such as Professor of Fine Art and Head of the School of Art at RMIT University, Dean of Art and Design at University College Falmouth, and Head of the School of Art as the Professor of Convergent Media at Massey University.

His academic journey has been marked by significant roles such as Associate Dean of Research, Arts and Humanities, at Plymouth University, Chair of Elam School of Art at The University of Auckland, and Head of Gray's School of Art at Robert Gordon University. Jeremy's teaching experience includes being a Senior Lecturer in Fine Art and overseeing MATTA (time-based art) & Visual Research at Plymouth University and Exeter College of Art and Design.
