Pride is a time to honor our history, our selves, and each other.

Pride is about living as authentically as you can, leading by example and acknowledging those who made it possible for you to do so.

Pride is knowing its okay to fall down as long as you get back up, because you're worth it. And having community--chosen family--there to lift you up when you're hurting and need a hand.

Pride is believing in yourself and others and the magic that is possible when people from every walk of life come together to celebrate their diversity and share their beauty.

I was so thankful to celebrate this Pride with my colleagues, for the culture and value of Equality that exists at Salesforce, and for the many LGBTQIA+ trailblazers who came before, who marched in defiance and protest so that Pride could now exist as both protest and party.

And I'm also so thankful for all of the work that went into bringing so much pride, love and joy to life in NYC (and in all of our North American Outforce hubs that celebrated Pride in June: Indy, Chicago, Boston, Seattle, San Francisco, Denver, Toronto, Vancouver, D.C....). Every leader who showed up and put in extra hours to bring our communities together is incredible.

"Pride month" may be over but pride, joy and authenticity are not confined to 30 days on the calendar--we get to carry this love out into the world, every day of the year. I'm so grateful to do that alongside Angie Delk, Greg Hoffman, Danny Knight, Yuju Yen, Alyssa Burgos, Emma Hutchinson, Dwayne Benjamin. M.S., Tazrina Afrin ☁️, and all of our colleagues, allies, friends and family who do this work with us and who advocate for us.
