Hello LinkedIn Community! As many of you already know, I have been passionate and focused on the AI space a number of years. All of us have been exposed to the recent Generative AI advancements and what many are calling the "AI Hype Cycle." While there certainly is no shortage of news and excitement surrounding AI, and especially Generative AI, I believe this wave of innovation is different from what we have seen in years' past.
The reality is that the AI movement started nearly 100 years ago one summer at Dartmouth University and has since encountered many spurts of innovation and accompanying lulls. Different from crypto, the metaverse and other hyped technologies, I believe we are witnessing an incredible watershed moment in both AI history and human evolution - a time we should all feel fortunate to be a part of. As this technology rapidly evolves and ripples through our lives, it is important to look out past the horizon and be aware of AI's positive impacts and its many potential adverse side effects.
The onslaught of AI-related innovation and news can be downright dizzying and confusing. To make sense of this new world, I began reading, watching and listening to all AI related information I could get my hands on. To hold myself accountable to my own learning journey, and to separate the wheat from the chaff, I created TheHorizon.ai, a place that reflects my curated view of the AI world. As a long-time listener, few time poster, The Horizon is my opportunity to give back to this wonderful community!
I invite you all to join and follow me as I aggregate and curate AI related news, attempt to explain in layman's terms AI related concepts such as CNNs and Transformer Models, and keep track of the latest thinkers in the space.

What seems to be a blink of the eye, an incredible chapter concludes after seven wonderful years at Slalom. The experience of starting, leading and growing a successful Salesforce practice has been the most rewarding of my entire career. I look back on my time and can say that every second, both good and challenging, was worth it. I have grown and been stretched as a professional, parent, colleague, and leader in ways I never could have imagined. I would make the same decision to join this incredible firm a million times over!
The thing I am perhaps most proud of is the legacy I am leaving behind. The outpouring of praises and support has been overwhelming, and I thank all who have reached out. I was fortunate to work with an incredibly talented group of professionals who have become more family than colleagues. I only hope that I left as meaningful an impact on them as they all have on me. The truth is, none of this would have happened without their belief in me, our vision and their unrelenting commitment to deliver success for our clients! Through this dedication and drive, we achieved greatness and built life-long relationships resulting in YoY growth every single year. Thank you team, thank you partners, and thank you Slalom.
