Highlights
Now that final grades have been released for the semester, I can officially say that I've maintained a 4.0 GPA through my Junior level studies!!!
That said, my tuition finances have changed going into next semester, so I'll be spending the summer trying to figure out scholarships and what not. If you happen to know of any scholarships available for adult undergrads, please let me know. I'm majoring in Media Studies with a cross-school minor in Business of Entertainment, Media, and Technology at NYU.
In exciting personal and professional news... I was selected to participate in the DEIA themed group of the Television Academy's new Peer Circle Program!!! We had our first group meeting last week and I'm super excited to get to know my colleagues and discuss ways we can support each other's growth and career development.
"Launching in May 2024, the Peer Circle program is designed to foster connections and a greater sense of community among TV Academy members who share common interests or are at a similar stage in their careers. Peer Circles are small, intimate groups of 10-15 industry professionals from diverse and varied backgrounds who meet regularly (at least monthly) in an atmosphere of trust and confidentiality to give and get advice, build new skills, reflect, and celebrate wins."
