Hey sales leaders: Looking at MEDDIC fields in your CRM is not the only way to validate whether reps are following your sales process & methodology.

Are reps doing the right things in the right sales stages?

Are they ensuring that they're aligned with the buyer so both agree on the status of the deal?

Are they articulating your solutions value and differentiation in the way that you've trained them to?

Are they engaging the right personas at the right time in the right way?

Most sales leaders think these are important questions.

The answers give you a glimpse into the degree to which reps are following the sales process and methodology you've invested in.

And the answers can tell you a lot about whether the sales org is performing at its peak.

But getting those answers is tricky in most sales orgs -- at least if you want to collect the answers at scale, for more than a couple reps and a couple deals.

So I've compiled a matrix to inspire some different ways of thinking about how to capture and measure the fidelity to sales process and methodology.

It's by no means exhaustive, but hopefully it's directionally accurate.

Lemme know what you think.

Happy selling.
