🚨 THE NEWS 🚨 Hello LinkedIn network! Here to share some bittersweet news—earlier this month, I was laid off from Water & Wall, my professional home of 6+ years.

❤️ THE GOODBYE 💙 In an industry where job-hopping is often the only way to move up, I never intended to stay in one place for so long—but I loved my team, my clients, my reporters, and my work, and at W+W I lucked into one of the rare agencies where you can step outside the bounds of titles or YOE to take on new responsibilities and grow. I'm forever grateful I spent most of my twenties learning and building there, and look forward to cheering them on from the sidelines.

🌱 THE ASK 🌱 While I am sad to go, I'm looking forward to finding my next role and taking on a new challenge. I've taken a few weeks to recharge, and am excited to kick off summer with the search for my next team.

So, I'm here to share more about what I'm looking for in case anybody in my network is hiring or knows of open roles I could fit!

📝 THE NITTY GRITTY 📝 I have 8 years of agency experience serving finance/fintech clients (with some broader tech mixed in) and managing #ESG and #sustainabilitycomms as well as leading accounts and supervising staff/interns. I have a background in crisis/corporate/M&A comms at FGS Global, excellent media relationships, and formal training as a writer from The Johns Hopkins University.

While I'm open to hearing about all openings, at the moment what I'm most interested in are full-time #inhouse roles with #finance, #fintech, or #tech companies where I can help drive some mix of #external and #internalcommunications, #mediarelations, #content, and #social. Titles that align best with my background are things like "Senior Communications Manager," "Director of Marketing Communications," "Media Relations Lead," etc.

Agency folks, I'd be most interested in speaking with global agencies for VP-level roles, ideally with some exposure to sustainability/impact client work.

Currently I am prioritizing #remote or #hybrid roles open to me being in NYC, or roles abroad (visas/sponsorship permitting.)

🤝 HOW YOU CAN HELP 🤝 If you're hiring or know someone who is, or simply want to catch up, please reach out! I'd also appreciate any comments/shares to signal boost, references, LinkedIn endorsements, etc. that folks can offer.

And if you've been laid off or are considering a move, and I can help you in any way, let me know 😊
