Jesse Nebres

Co-Founder at SurfStraw

Jesse Nebres is the co-founder of SurfStraw, a company that has developed the world's first water bottle designed specifically for use with wetsuits. He co-founded SurfStraw with Han Bae, whom he met while working as a CPA at EY. Both Nebres and Bae are avid surfers who recognized the need for a convenient hydration solution during surfing sessions.

Jesse Nebres graduated cum laude from the University of San Diego with degrees in accounting and finance. He later pursued his MBA at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, where he was involved with Tuck Ventures, a platform that supports entrepreneurial endeavors by Tuck students and alumni.34

SurfStraw began with a successful Kickstarter campaign in July 2020, raising $13,000, and has since expanded into e-commerce and top surf shops across the U.S. The company also donates to environmental causes, such as Plasticbank, to support ocean sustainability.12
