Jessica Barajas is an accomplished professional with a strong background in education policy, leadership, and research.

She holds a degree in Policy, Organization & Leadership Studies from Stanford University Graduate School of Education, and a Bachelors with a special major in Political Science & Education, along with a minor in Latin American Studies from Swarthmore College.

Currently, Jessica serves as a Research and Policy Associate at the prestigious Learning Policy Institute, where she contributes to valuable research and policy recommendations.

Her prior experience includes teaching roles at Stanford University's Bing Nursery School and The Primary School, further showcasing her dedication to education and early childhood development.

Jessica has also excelled in research, having worked as a Research Assistant at Stanford University and with the Office of Migrant Education at the U.S. Department of Education.

Moreover, she has a strong background in program management, having served as a Manager for the Latinos on Fast Track (LOFT) Program at the Hispanic Heritage Foundation.

Jessica is no stranger to public policy, as demonstrated by her time as a Fellow at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, Princeton University, and as part of the Office of House of Representative Joe Baca at the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute.
