Jessica Ferne

Director, Global Health Impact at CanWaCH (Canadian Partnership for Women and Children's Health)

Jessica Ferne is the Director of Global Health Impact at the Canadian Partnership for Women and Children's Health (CanWaCH), focusing on strengthening monitoring and evaluation processes to enhance evidence-driven programming and decision-making for the betterment of women, children, and youth.

With a background in humanitarian action, sexual and reproductive health and rights, and youth engagement, Jessica has held various roles in program management, research, and evaluation in Canada and abroad.

Jessica also serves as the President of the Board of Directors for the Ontario Council for International Cooperation and is a part-time professor at Centennial College in the International Development department.

She holds a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy (cum laude) from the University of Ottawa, along with several post-graduate certificates in areas such as international project management, policy analysis, and humanitarian response.

Her extensive international experience spans regions like South Asia, the Middle East, Eastern and Southern Africa, Eastern Europe, and the Americas.

Jessica is fluent in both English and French, showcasing her diverse skill set and commitment to global health and social justice issues.
