Jessica Francisca Colaço is an entrepreneur, Computer Scientist, and TED fellow from Nairobi, Kenya. She is a Harambean Oppenheimer Fellow 2020, currently serving as the acting COO and Chief People Operations Officer at Amitruck, a digital logistics startup. She co-founded Brave, an HR tech company, focusing on workforce planning and headhunting.

Jessica played a key role in establishing the iHub, the first tech-hub in Kenya and East Africa, and held various leadership positions there for 6 years. She has a passion for building tech ecosystems and communities and is currently writing a book on her experiences at iHub. Beyond tech, she is a Bass Guitarist and is venturing into music production with her EP.

She co-founded WMIAfrica, a peer-to-peer mentoring network for women in STEM, and AkiraChix, which trains underprivileged women in tech. Jessica has been recognized as one of the top 40 women under 40 in Kenya's business scene by Business Daily and has received several accolades for her contributions to technology and entrepreneurship.

Jessica is a sought-after speaker and has graced global platforms like SWSX and Harvard, sharing insights on technology and entrepreneurship. She holds a Master's Degree in Applied Computing and a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Nairobi. Jessica's professional journey includes diverse roles in advisory boards, startup mentorship, and community building within the tech industry.
