"the solution to many problems with AI is more AI" :) So true! Love this talk by Clay Bavor https://lnkd.in/gSK5DuvQ - one of the best ones I have heard recently with tons of gems from experiences of building an AI company that addresses big business pain points. Even though we're focusing on education at Create & Learn, much of what he said resonated with our journey of integrating AI into our platform, giving us plenty to think about.
In a recent conversation between Jensen Huang and Mark Zuckerberg, they discussed the concept of Creator AI (https://lnkd.in/guBydhzC). The idea is that, instead of, or in addition to, having a blog, YouTube channel, or podcast, individuals and businesses could use AI agents to represent their ideas and provide personalized information to their audience. Imagine how cool it would be to ask questions of AI “doubles” of Bill Gates, Stephen Curry, Taylor Swift, or whoever your role model might be anytime, and receive answers tailored just for you. The sheer amount of valuable information (or potentially misinformation) that could be generated is both thrilling and chilling.
Of course, there's still a way to go before this becomes reality. In another recent conversation between Bret Taylor and Reid Hoffman (https://lnkd.in/gdA4u6BD), they discussed Taylor’s AI company, Sierra, which is designed to help consumer companies build branded conversational AI agents. It seems inevitable that the world will head in this direction.
While these AI technologies will undoubtedly improve certain aspects of our lives, as someone who cares deeply about education, I hope humanity never loses sight of our true purpose: to build deeper human connections, to help those less fortunate, and to protect the vulnerable—not just other human beings but the nature that we share the world with.
This is also why we launched the Code for Nature Challenge (https://lnkd.in/gHMPMVPT) this summer—to help our students stay grounded in the deeper meaning of life while learning about AI and other groundbreaking technologies.
