Jill Moran is a Certified Special Events Professional with extensive experience in special event planning, creative development, strategic planning, event execution, on-site management, and accountability.

She is an accomplished author, having written 'How to Start a Home-based Event Planning Business' and 'How to Start a Home-based Wedding Planning Business' published by Globe Pequot Press.

Jill Moran has been an active member of the International Live Events Association (ILEA) since 1995, where she has received multiple ESPRIT awards and held various leadership positions including President of the New England Chapter and International Education Chair.

As a sought-after speaker, she has presented at industry conferences such as Eventworld, The Special Event, and Regional and National Special Event Education Conferences, sharing her expertise with event professionals across the US and Canada.

Jill Moran's passion for education led her to develop the Special Events Institute, providing online education for event professionals.

Her specialties encompass event management for a wide range of events including celebratory, marketing, social, corporate, trade show, non-profit, and fund-raising events. She also offers education and training in event management.

Jill Moran holds a BS in Education from the University of Connecticut and has pursued MBA coursework at both Arizona State University and Babson College.

With a rich professional history, she has served as the National Director of Events at BUILD, Director & Founder of the Special Events Institute, Owner & President of jsmoran special events, and has held positions at various organizations including the International Special Events Society and Bay State Moving Systems.
