Currently, Jim serves as a Senior Advisor at Pamunkey Indian Enterprises - Professional Services (PIE-PS), where he has played a pivotal role in establishing the tribe's government contracting efforts since he formally joined the organization in early 2019. His leadership within the Secretariat encompassed critical areas such as economic development, job creation, tourism, film, industry regulation and safety, housing, and other commerce-related fields. Jim traveled extensively throughout the Commonwealth, engaging with its residents and showcasing the beauty and business-friendly nature of Virginia. His tireless efforts to promote the state's economic opportunities led to initiatives that positioned Virginia as a top choice for businesses looking to relocate, earning it the title of the "Best State for Business."

Prior to this role, Jim was the President of Totus Lighting Solutions, a successful startup in the green energy sector that specialized in LED streetlight and indoor lighting solutions with a global presence. His entrepreneurship journey began earlier with his ownership of CHM, an IT services firm dedicated to government (Department of Defense and civilian) contracting, where he grew the company from a modest five employees to an impressive 550 over nine years. Jim’s experience spans across various sectors, including technology startups, small businesses, and consulting, demonstrating his versatile skill set and deep understanding of the evolving business landscape.
