Highlights
Ever tried asking your clients to articulate your differentiator in 10 words or less?
At the Gartner Data & Analytics Summit last week, a CRO client introduced Teem to another CRO as “big enough to deliver and small enough to care”!
I’m sure I’ve seen that written on the side of a truck but, with 22 Teem players across both sides of the Atlantic, it sums us up nicely.
Our competition comes from two directions. The first is a firm 4 x bigger and who work with (almost) everyone. We can show we care more but we must also compete with them on scale.
5+ years ago we were both part of the Snowflake EMEA hiring campaign. Teem made 56 hires across 6 countries, and they did more…but not much more.
We were punching above our weight and again it was the client who provided the best sound bite when he said Teem “saved his life”.
Our other competition comes from the unprecedented number of 2-man bands that have sprung up in the last 12 months.
Having been on that journey I have huge respect for them. However, it takes a very long time to build, develop and retain a team capable of servicing a SaaS scale-up across multiple geos and GTM roles.
With the increasing volatility of our market, servicing a scale-up’s hiring needs has become a series of sprints, so I am grateful for the elasticity of Teem.
All of this articulated in 10 words.
