An impressive high school senior. One evening I got a call from Perri Soper a senior at St. Thomas High School (my Alma mater), selling raffle tickets for the annual St Thomas Roudup, which primarily supports scholarships for students that need some help. Perri’s approach, his manners, and his goal of being a top fundraiser were crystal clear. I had not donated to St Thomas in a few years and decided to buy a few hundred bucks worth of raffle tickets. A week later, a stack of tickets showed up at my office with a handwritten thanks. I recently ran into Perri’s dad and heard he was the second-highest find-raiser. Today there was a package on my desk with a nice leather tray with the St. Thomas logo and another handwritten thank you. Perri raised over $50,000. Impressive young person that is setting an example we can all follow.
