Golden Seeds company Sisu Global Health is focused on the design and deployment of medical devices for use in low resource settings, e.g. SubSaharan Africa. Sisu’s Hemafuse product reduces the need for donor blood by enabling surgeons to capture and reuse a patient’s own blood. This is particularly relevant to serve military personnel and civilians in war torn areas to save lives. Ukraine has a humanitarian crisis worsening daily.
Golden Seeds investors urged Sisu to move with urgency to serve Ukraine: to find the right deployment partner and channels on the ground in Ukraine, to find a 501C3 organization through whom to raise donations ( to at least cover their costs), and prepare to ship at least 1,000 devices for this crisis. They are now ready!
