Howdy folks, as 2023 comes to an end, I wanted to reach out with a request: I’m on the board of After-School All-Stars Puget Sound and raising funds through our annual year-end appeal. Would you consider donating?
After-School All-Stars Puget Sound (ASAS) is a non-profit organization that provides free, comprehensive after-school and summer programs to lower-income, historically excluded middle school youth in South King County. I am particularly proud to be a board member and even more so during these past few turbulent years as our organization has shown a great deal of resilience and has stepped up to support the heightened needs of the communities we serve.
In the time I’ve been on the board I’ve had the opportunity to visit some of the schools and see the programming first hand. The kids are so excited to be a part of these cool after-school programs, there’s such a variety of good stuff going on (Cooking! Coding! Dancing! DJing!). After-School All-Stars is doing some really special work in South King County with not a lot of resources. Your gift is powerful—and every amount helps. Whether it’s $25 or $250, you’ll be making an impact on the lives of young people.
Please support After-School All-Stars Puget Sound continue the critical work to help kids succeed in school and in life.
