Our fundraise announcement went viral - here's how we did it! 👇
Two weeks ago, we announced that we had raised $2.6m and landed all regulatory approvals on our mission to build the leading European broker of the future, starting with the Nordics.
With a well executed strategy planned weeks in advance, the results were amazing:
👷♀️ 50+ inbounds from qualified candidates 📱 400+ new app downloads in a single day 👀 250k+ impressions across SoMe channels 🗞 Coverage in the largest local and global media outlets including Børsen, Business Insider, FinansWatch, EU-Startups, Tech.eu & more.
Let's spill the beans. Here's how we did it:
1️⃣ Prepared a press release including press photos based on the desired objectives and narrative. Ran a few quick iterations with investors. 2️⃣ Gave the story on an exclusive basis to one national and one international media outlet for release at the same time (Børsen and Business Insider in our case). Our investors helped making relevant intros. 3️⃣ Prepared our own LinkedIn announcement. Iterated with fellow founders to nail it. 4️⃣ Once the story broke, we asked investors and employees to engage with the LinkedIn post. 5️⃣ Quickly after, we sent the press release, photos and published articles that we had prepared the night before to startup and local media who then ran with the story once more.
As with everything else, preparation pays off.
