After weeks of investigation and intelligence gathering, we can happily say that we KNOCKED Anonymous Sudan's current paid infrastructure offline!

As you may be aware, the attacks against Denmark, which were in its initial phase, stopped drastically on the night of February 23rd.

Our research over the last weeks identified 61 servers well hidden behind other servers.  They acted as c2 (Command and Control) for launching the attacks and were indirectly part of the attack via poorly configured SOCKS proxy servers belonging to other organizations on the Internet.

The servers that we took offline were hosted at SoftLayer (also known as IBM Cloud) in Germany. By collaborating with the hosting provider, we could shut them down and secure evidence for future investigation by law enforcement.

This is another testimonial of the important work we at Baffin Bay Networks conduct daily and the reach and strength we have to impact situations like this.
