So proud to announce that we have teamed up with ReNew for 437.6MW of solar and wind in the state of Maharashtra.

As part of the agreement, ReNew will direct ~US $15 million towards a community fund to support environmental justice initiatives focusing on women’s livelihoods and economic empowerment, energy access, rural electrification, environmental remediation and water quality improvement, and other concerns of communities disproportionately impacted by pollution and climate change.

Big thanks to Shivansh Saurabh at Renew for his partnership and Microsoft's very own Anjali Balakrishna for her leadership on the environmental justice front. This may seem like a big week with back-to-back announcements in Singapore and India, but this is just the beginning -- let's gooo!!
