Joe Welinske

Joe Welinske, CPACC, is a seasoned professional with nearly thirty years of experience in improving digital products and services through effective communication strategies.

Currently, Joe serves as the Program Manager for ConveyUX, an annual conference in Seattle catering to user experience professionals globally, organized by Blink UX. He is deeply involved in promoting accessibility and inclusive design at Blink as the Accessibility Director.

With a strong background in digital communication dating back to 1984, Joe has co-authored pioneering books on online help and user assistance. He is currently working on a new book focusing on accessible design.

Joe's dedication to education is evident through his roles as an instructor at various institutions including the University of Washington and UC Silicon Valley Extension. He holds degrees in Industrial Engineering and Adult Instructional Management.

Throughout his career, Joe has actively contributed to professional organizations, serving in leadership capacities at the STC Puget Sound Chapter, UxPA Puget Sound, and co-organizing the Seattle Accessibility and Inclusive Design Meetup.
