With a strong background in the non-profit sector, Tanguy serves as the Director of External Affairs and an Executive Team Member at Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative (DNDi), a $1.3 billion venture dedicated to developing drugs for neglected diseases and advocating for a more equitable biomedical innovation system.

Tanguy has been instrumental in delivering 5 new treatments for 8 diseases of poverty, ultimately saving millions of lives through the initiatives of DNDi.

In addition to her work at DNDi, Tanguy has also served as a Board Member at the Access to Medicines Foundation, further showcasing her commitment to addressing global health challenges.

Her professional journey began in Silicon Valley, followed by humanitarian missions with Doctors Without Borders (MSF) where she eventually led the organization in the USA.

Tanguy's career progression includes significant roles such as Under-Secretary-General at the International Red Cross and Red Crescent, Managing Director at GAVI, the Vaccine Alliance, Senior Vice President & Managing Director at Ambassador R. Holbrooke's Global Business Coalition, and founding Director at the TB Alliance among others.

She has also served on the board of the Global Fund to fight AIDS, TB, and Malaria, demonstrating her diverse expertise in the global health landscape.

Tanguy holds an MBA from France's HEC MBA in a joint program with Stanford University, underlining her strong educational foundation in management and business.

Her contributions extend to strategic partnerships and communications division at UN Women, the United Nations lead agency for gender equality, reflecting her commitment to advocating for inclusion and diversity.
