Joey Moi is a Canadian-born, Nashville-based record producer, songwriter, engineer, and mixer who is a partner at Big Loud Mountain. He is widely recognized for his transformative contributions to both rock and country music. Originally from Whitehorse, Yukon, Moi began his career in the early 2000s producing multi-platinum albums for Nickelback, including their 3x Platinum The Long Road. His success in rock music eventually transitioned to country music when he moved to Nashville in 2010.
Moi co-founded Big Loud Mountain in 2011 alongside Craig Wiseman, Kevin "Chief" Zaruk, and Seth England. This innovative company combines artist development, publishing, management, and production. Big Loud Mountain's first major success was with Florida Georgia Line, whose Moi-produced debut album Here’s to the Good Times became a multi-platinum hit and reshaped country music by blending country, rock, and hip-hop influences.
