John Cacciamani

Dr. John Cacciamani served as the President and CEO of Chestnut Hill Hospital - Temple Health from March 2012 until stepping down in March 2024.135 During his tenure, he led the hospital through its acquisition by Temple Health in 2023.5 Prior to his role as CEO, Cacciamani was the Chief of Clinical Operations and Informatics at Temple Health – Temple University Health System from August 2004 to May 2012, and Chief Medical Officer at Temple University Hospital from January 2003 to August 2004.3

Following Cacciamani's departure, Temple Health appointed Jeremy J. Slaga as Interim CEO while they search for a permanent replacement.15 Ten days later, Temple Health announced that Richard Newell would take over on April 8.2
