John Harding

John Harding is a highly educated professional with a diverse academic background. He has studied Management at the University of Geneva, Engineering at Université De Neuchâtel, a Master of Science in Birmingham University, a Bachelor of Science in Geology and Oceanography at the University of Southampton, and a Master of Science in Design and Information Systems at Cranfield University. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Management from Cranfield University.

John Harding has held key roles in several prestigious organizations. Currently, he serves as the Head of the Climate Risk and Early Warning Systems (CREWS) Secretariat at the World Meteorological Organization. Previously, he was the Head of Unit a.i. for Disaster Risk Reduction at UNDP, UN Relations and Coordination Officer at the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction, Political Advisor on Environment, Energy, and Disaster Risk Reduction at the Office of the United Nations Special Envoy for Haiti, Team Leader for GFDRR Global and Regional Programmes at The World Bank, and an Associate Programme Officer at the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNISDR).
