John Henry Adams pursued a diverse academic background starting with a Bachelor's degree in Comparative Literature from St. Mary's College of Maryland. He then went on to earn his Master's degree in English & Comparative Literature from the University of Cincinnati, followed by a Ph.D. in English from Arizona State University, where he focused on representations of books in sixteenth-century England.
