Highlights
There are a lot of fake job offers for remote coding work going around today using info on LinkedIn and other platforms. They conduct bogus interviews on Teams but only with a phone number, not a person. Never, never ever give your bank account information to someone you don't know and have never met. My company does not hire for remote coding work (because we don't do it), and if we hire it's from LinkedIn or Indeed. Here's a recent warning from Indeed:
Here's Team NAMC Oregon after the hugely successful 3rd Annual Family BBQ yesterday at Oaks Park. There were free ride bracelets for everyone, games for kids, great networking, and the food omg - Filipino from @Tambayan, Mexican from Los Tamales Locos, Laotian from @Juicy JV, and next-world bbq from PHILYAW'S COOKOUT LLC , all for 200+ people. So grateful to be able to assist Nate McCoy, Cinna'Mon Williams, MBA , Auralyn Concepcion-Murphy, James Cador, Kevin Sabeta, Damian Crowder, @Saidith Vila, Ralen Jones, Jose Gomez, Andrew Colas and all the rest of the NAMC-OR family in building bridges and breaking barriers.
