Last October I posed a question on LinkedIn to understand who all the #sustainability consultancies were and was hoping someone would point me to a directory. I get this question a lot from students and was hoping to point them to a one stop shop to answer all their questions! Not finding one and getting A LOT of suggestions in the comments, I thought we should put all the info in a format that others - job seekers, students, those searching for consultants, etc. - could save, search, and filter (see video below). The work can be difficult as it is, anything that makes finding information like this easier seemed like it would be worth it!
I'm happy to share that one of my students (now recent grad who is #opentowork and would be an AMAZING hire) Cate Starmer helped bring this Sustainability #consulting directory to life. Along with my friend and the social media and sustainability guru Marissa Rosen of Climate Social we were able to put this directory out to the world and share it widely.
Since it's launch it has grown from ~120 to now over 300 entries! Looking forward to continuing to add and update it (with the help of my new cohort of Sustainable Innovation MBA #SIMBA students at the University of Vermont Grossman School of Business) and hope to make it as useful a directory as it can be. Even hearing from a single person that this has been a useful tool for them has made it worthwhile!
