He served as the editor of ANM World Missions magazine for Advancing Native Missions starting in 2009, focusing on indigenous ministries and spreading awareness about their effectiveness.

From 2004 to 2010, John Lindner was the founder and President & CEO of World Christian Ministries, advocating for supporting indigenous missions to fulfill the Great Commission.

Prior to founding WCM, he dedicated 25 years to writing, editing, and publishing a missions magazine for Christian Aid Mission.

In addition to his missionary work, John Lindner has a rich pastoral background, having served in various churches in Ohio and Michigan from 1962 to 1979.

His educational background includes a Doctor of Mission degree from Evangelical Theological Seminary in Kota, Rajasthan, and a B.A. in Church History and English from Elmhurst College.
