John O'Donnell is a dedicated game designer and engineer, enthusiastic about tackling challenges and finding creative solutions.

With a diverse background in projects ranging from Ultra Low-Power SoC's to medical devices, documentaries, 3D printers, and web applications, John brings a wide range of experiences to his current focus on creating captivating play experiences.

His educational journey includes a Master's Degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering with First class honors from University College Dublin, an Erasmus Exchange program in Elektrotechnik at Technische Universit\u00e4t M\u00fcnchen, a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (also with First class honors) from University College Dublin, and a specialization in Game Design with a Master of Science from IT-Universitetet i K\u00f8benhavn.

John has been involved with various organizations, including serving as a Lecturer at Griffith College Cork, and holding roles such as Game Designer at FlatPonies, Assistant Lecturer in Game World Design and Data-Driven Design & Development at IT-Universitetet i K\u00f8benhavn, Game Lab Manager at IT-Universitetet i K\u00f8benhavn, and Design Expert/Fixer at Kite Entertainment, among others.

His professional journey also includes roles as a Creative Technologist at IXDS, Freelance Prototype Engineer, Software Engineer at Movidius, DFx Design Engineer at Intel Corporation, Electronic Engineer at University College Dublin, and Technology Consulting Co-Op at Deloitte. He has also served in positions such as Senior Residential Assistant at University College Dublin, Project Management Praktikant at Knorr-Bremse, and Apprentice Electrician at Delco Electrical Corp.
