Here's a link to our paper "High dimensional predictions of suicide risk in 4.2 million US Veterans using ensemble transfer learning," published in Nature Scientific Reports last week.
Death by suicide is complex, and so is the paper. Nevertheless, it's a big step in the right direction that shows how committed teams from the VA, the US National Laboratories, and Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center combined complex clinical and biological data with advanced technology to predict suicide risk in Veterans.
