John Richards

Research Professor at Georgetown University

John Richards is the Executive Director for the National Center for Education in Maternal and Child Health at Georgetown University.

He is the Lead for the Health Information Group, which focuses on developing data-driven public health training sites and coordinating technology across the university's main, law, and medical campuses.

John serves as Principal Investigator for various projects such as the MCH Navigator, MCH Evidence Center, HealthCheck Training and Resource Center, and Modernizing the Nation's Public Health Training Delivery System.

He has extensive experience working on MCHB initiatives at Georgetown University for over two decades, including projects like the MCH Library, the Title V Information System, Bright Futures, and the Healthy Start National Resource Center.

Mr. Richards has received awards and recognition for his contributions to public health, including the Young Leadership in MCH Award from HRSA/MCHB and the President's Award from Georgetown University.

He has been instrumental in advancing technological innovations in the field of maternal and child health, promoting the adoption of new communication techniques to better serve communities.

John Richards holds a Master's degree from The Catholic University of America and has previously served as a Research Professor at Georgetown University.
