Most sales leaders aren’t analyzing their sales rep’s call data deeply enough.

It’s causing reps to underperform and feel like they’re not cut out for sales.

A typical analysis goes like this:

  • Did they connect?

  • Did they book the meeting?

  • Booked meeting = good call.

  • Not booked = bad call.

The problem is, there’s so many micro-factors that go into a cold call.

Maybe the rep’s opening line starts the call off on the wrong foot.

Maybe their pitch causes the prospect’s eyes to glaze over.

Maybe their questions make them lose credibility.

Maybe the close is too hesitant and soft.

There’s a TON of sub-segments of a cold call that need to be analyzed and coached in order to fix bottlenecks.

COMPARTMENTALIZATION is exactly what we teach at REVGEN.

👋 I’ve been leading B2B SaaS sales teams for over 14 years and showing SDR’s and their managers how to book qualified meetings at an extremely high rate.

I post tips for SDR’s, sales leaders, and AE’s who are doing their own prospecting.

Follow along if that’s something you’re interested in seeing.

Nobody wants to make cold calls.

Even as someone who’s led thousands of cold callers, I know this as a fact.

That’s why you need to “eat the frog,” as Mark Twain said.

Eating the frog means doing your hardest activity of the day, first thing.

This is why I recommend a distraction-free call block to start the day.

Not only will it help you get over your call anxiety, but it will build positive momentum for the day.

The vast majority of highly-paid sales people all started their career making cold calls.

It’s a skill that, if mastered, will pay you many times over throughout your career.

Anybody can learn this skill, it just takes the will to take action.
