Jon Hill is an experienced professional in the field of model risk management with a strong background in risk analytics, model validation, and programming.

He currently serves as an adjunct professor at NYU's Tandon School of Financial Risk Engineering, where he teaches a graduate-level sequence in model risk governance and validation.

Jon Hill has previously held key roles at renowned financial institutions including Managing Director at Credit Suisse and Global Head of Model Risk Governance Standards, where he was responsible for developing the global model governance framework and overseeing model risk management policies and procedures.

He is a frequent speaker at seminars on Model Risk Management and Validation and has conducted various masterclasses on these subjects in New York City and London.

Jon Hill is also a published author, with his work appearing in the Journal of Structured Finance.

His specialties include risk analytics, model validation, programming languages such as C/C++, VBA, Excel, and SAS, as well as experience in various certification exams like FINRA Series 7 and Series 63.

Jon Hill holds a Ph.D. in Biophysics from the University of Utah and bachelor's degrees in Electrical Engineering and Engineering Science from the University of Utah and the University of Florida, respectively.

He has been actively involved in organizations such as NYU Tandon School of Engineering, Model Risk Managers International Association, Credit Suisse, Morgan Stanley, and various other consultancy and research roles in his career.
