It's time: Guess who's hiring?

Imagine hundreds or thousands of innovators unleashed on the thorniest challenges, scariest threats, or most promising avenues of supremacy faced by their Service Branch. Imagine if they could talk to each other, call for the help they need, earn confidence or funding, and receive the coaching and guidance that make it all that much more achievable. Imagine setting them loose with the time, trust, and top cover success requires.

Productable stands at the intersection of software, methods, and expertise -- and you could stand with us. Come be the leader the nation's innovators deserve.

Repost or ping freely! I aim to hire several rounds of folks in the coming year, and there's no such thing as too much talent.

So you've got a few military innovation wins. Maybe more than a few. And more than a few proven innovators. What happens next?

The non-negotiable answer: A portfolio. The good news is, portfolio management is a fairly well-developed discipline -- and, increasingly, our leadership wants to see exactly the deal flow, metrics, and strategic alignment that well-managed portfolios can provide.

Is it the flashiest part of innovation work? It is not. Not any more than the grinding, relentless, find-a-way-or-make-one execution that has to follow even the most exciting sticky note session. But it's just as integral. And, in the attached, a few interesting folks have gotten together to explain both why and how.
