Jon Noworyta is a versatile conductor known for his proficiency with orchestras, choirs, and wind bands. He has an extensive background in conducting and administering band programs, notably at Wheaton North High School.

Noworyta's dedication to premiering high-quality new music has led to significant commissions like 'in the midst', 'Escapade', and 'Second City Vignettes'. He has conducted several premieres, including works by Robert Sheldon and Clint Needham. His experience spans cover and rehearsal conducting, sectional coaching, and guest clinician roles in various musical settings.

Having made his European professional orchestral conducting debut in 1996, Noworyta boasts performances at prestigious venues like Chicago's Symphony Center, the Kennedy Center, and Carnegie Hall. He has studied under respected instructors such as Dr. Terence Milligan and has had the privilege of working with renowned wind conductors like Frank Battisti, Eugene Corporon, and Mallory Thompson.

His musical endeavors have earned recognition from esteemed composers like Jennifer Higdon and David Maslanka, along with conductors Arnald Gabriel and Harry Begian. Noteworthy collaborations include performances with pianist James Tocco, featuring the music of George Gershwin and David Maslanka.

Jon Noworyta's professional affiliations include NAfME, CBDNA, WASBE, NBA, ILMEA, GLSEN, LGBA, and the Conductors Guild. He is recognized in the Who's Who in America Educator's Edition. Previously, he served as an Assistant Professor and Director of Instrumental Activities at the University of Indianapolis.
