Highlights
I’m feeling a lot of gratitude for Qualtrics tonight. Although we put in a lot of effort to collaborate in the office every week, Qualtrics allows employees to work remotely for 2 weeks each year. So, I’m in the middle of my second week working from my motorhome, just outside of Bryce Canyon National Park. I finished my workday with a great hike through Queen’s Garden, and get to enjoy epic sunsets every night. Thanks, Qualtrics.

A few years ago, I worked with an amazing guy - Antonio Serrano. Everytime I would ask him how he's doing, his reply was "Fantastic!" Of course, as VP of Customer Support, he had at least as many work problems as I did - usually more. But, his attitude, and the confidence and capability that it demonstrated, was always inspiring and admirable.
This week, a good friend sent me this article, which sums up the rationale for being positive at work. This has been a very challenging year for a lot of people. We each need a support system that can help us work through our issues. I appreciate the friends, coaches, and therapists over the years who have helped me work through life's big challenges. But, don't dump all your junk onto your coworkers or your boss. Instead, be a source of solutions. Show you can handle your responsibility and maybe some of theirs, too. You can deal with change. You can build new skills to handle new situations. The person who is most capable of managing their current responsibility is the one who gets elevated to take on more.
