🌟 Normally, I am very proud of being Norwegian! 😡 But yesterday, I felt ashamed of my home country when Norway became the first country in the world to move forward with the controversial practice of commercial-scale deep-sea mining 💡 One of the reasons for approving this, despite numerous of scientists' warnings, is the need for new minerals. But many of the leading battery producers, tech companies, car manufacturers, utility companies etc claim that "deep-sea mining is a pursuit of minerals we don’t need, with environmental damage that we can’t afford"
